In no less than 200 words (you’ll probably need more) and using support from your readings (please cite from each reading at least once) critically analyze the UNWTO Background Paper “From Davos to Copenhagen and Beyond: Advancing Tourism’s Response to Climate Change. For example, does the document provide sufficient suggestions for change based on what you now know are the critical issues regarding climate change? To critically analyze means to find the strengths and weaknesses of the paper (referring to the first three readings and video to back up your claims). You must reference content from the first three readings and the video in this Unit to support your argument and to demonstrate an understanding of the content and how it applies to the UN document. For top marks, remember to strengthen your discussion by referring to Units 1 and 2 content materials (key concepts of sustainability, ecosystems and biodiversity).

We have almost completed the process of developing our HVA. Once an Emergency Manager had completed the HVA and it has been approved by the community partners and organizations you would publish it for those involved in Emergency Management. To get there you need to ensure that you have a priority assigned to each of the hazards. You need this to also assist you in your mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery activities. For this week I want you complete the Risk Index Worksheet for Comparing and Prioritizing Risks for each type of hazard; natural, technological, and human you have identified for Bobsville.
-Download the EDMG101 HVA Risk Index.xlsx. This contains a cover sheet and 3 blank tabs to fill–Natural, Technological, and Human.
-Fill out your name and date on the cover tab.
-Copy the hazards you identified in all 3 tabs from the HVA Vulnerability workbook. Use the drop-down values in each of the column categories. Type in any special characteristics & planning conditions. Determine and set the risk priority.
